Cape Cod Beach Weddings at Kalmar
Whether you’re planning a destination wedding on Cape Cod or live locally and are considering a Cape Cod wedding venue that allows you and your loved ones to gather together for several days, rather than just a few hours, consider Kalmar Village. With six acres of oceanfront land and 400 feet of private beach, Kalmar Village is the perfect place for a waterfront wedding on Cape Cod. And with an array of shingled-sided cottages sprinkled throughout the property, you and your friends and family can opt to settle in for a few days and enjoy spending real time together.
Unlike many Cape Cod wedding venues, which have a certain look that will dictate your reception’s overall style, when you host your Cape Cod wedding reception at Kalmar your wedding décor can be exactly what you want it to be (as long as you want it to include sweeping views of sea!).
Will you opt for a sand-in-the-toes ceremony on our beach and then move into your tent on the emerald-green lawn? Or would you prefer to have your entire soiree on the sand? Both are easily done at Kalmar Village. Whatever your vision – a casual Cape Cod clambake for 300 or an elegant sit-down dinner with white linens – this is where your dream becomes a reality.
The Details:
You’ll need to rent a tent and tables and chairs, and engage outside catering services, when hosting your wedding at Kalmar. We’re happy to assist by recommending the area’s top wedding professionals.
Our lawn, which offers stunning views of our private beach, the ocean and Provincetown’s skyline, can accommodate a tent which is large enough to comfortably seat up to 225 guests. Smaller tents for more intimate groups are always an option as well.
If you would prefer to have the tent set up directly on our beach, there is virtually no size limitation.
When hosting your reception with us, we ask that you and your guests occupy the cottages adjacent to the reception area as a courtesy to our other guests. Please keep in mind that, like many resort-area hotels, we request a minimum number of nights for overnight accommodations which are typically longer in the peak summer season. If you’d like something of a shorter duration, spring and fall are perfect for Cape Cod weddings.
